Those attending Phoenix School are not short of things to do in the half term. The collaboration between the Tower Project Children’s Services and Phoenix School continues to flourish with varying activities and learning onsite at the school.
Activities vary from water play to the sensory room. From doing arts and crafts to learning important life skills. There is plenty to do with the structured scheme running all this week in February with a further three more throughout the year.
Naima Boukhriss, Interim Children’s Service Manager at the Tower Project, helps to manage the scheme saying that, “each day is different,” and offers the children and parents support during the half term break. Naima continues this by saying that the, “staff know the kids well,” and this plays a part in the success of the scheme knowing the different needs of each individual child.
